BECOME AN INTERNATIONALLY RECOGNISED PILATES INSTRUCTOR
We started our scholarship program in 2020 with the hope of making high quality Instructor Training available to those who don’t have the resources to pursue it on their own. We are aware that Pilates Training programs are expensive and without extensive scholarships and financial aid, the Pilates industry has become exclusionary in many ways. As a studio, we are committed to shaping a more diverse and inclusive wellness industry and this program is our first step in doing so.
The scholarship is aimed at people who are passionate and experienced in human movement. As our courses are intensive programs, they require some familiarity with anatomy and exercise patterns prior to commencement.
THE DETAILS
The scholarship applies to our STOTT PILATES Intensive and Advanced Mat courses, as well as the Total Barre course.
All of our courses take place at our Merrithew Licensed Training Centre in Cape Town, South Africa. Recipients must be able to attend the course in-person for the full duration. The scholarship covers 100% of the course fee. It does not cover the materials fee, however we can structure a payment plan to cover this.
THE PROGRAM:
The recipient of this program will start by attending our STOTT PILATES Intensive and Advanced Mat courses. Upon completion, the recipient will join as many complimentary Mat classes at the studio as their schedule allows and receive mentorship from Lisa and Jessica in preparation for their STOTT PILATES Matwork exam.
1. Intensive Mat Course
Wednesday 21 August – Thursday 29 August 2024
Time 11am – 4pm daily
2. Advanced Mat Course
Friday 30 August 2024
Time 11am – 4pm
